Power Hitting Theory - We'll cover the science behind power hitting where a batter needs to be strong and why it matters.

Power Hitting Practical

Power Hitting Practical - Exercises and drills that immediately translate to bat speed, followed by time in the nets hitting balls to put it into action.

Bowling Theory

Sam Hunt

Sam started Cricfit in March 2020, just as lockdown began, with a simple goal: to educate cricketers about the physical side of the game.

Having played cricket to a high level growing up, Sam has since coached hundreds of cricketers from across the world over the past six years.

Sam’s mission is simple: to help cricketers of any level train like the pros, without needing a professional contract.

Frequently asked questions

Not sure if this is right for you?

What is the address for each location?

Thursday 13th August - Sheffield - S20 The Boundary 1 Longacre Cl, Sheffield S20 3FR - 13:00 - 18:00

Monday 17th August - Surrey - PowerPlay indoor cricket centre Next to Fins Motorcycles, 60 Holmethorpe Ave, Redhill RH1 2NL - 13:00 - 18:00

Thursday 27th August - Cambridge - University of Cambridge, Fenners indoor cricket school, Mortimer Rd, Cambridge CB1 2EL - 13:00 - 18:00

What age group is this for?

It's designed with 10 to 17 year olds in mind. We'll split players into age groups on the day so your child is working alongside players at a similar stage.

Do I have to attend both sections?

No, you can book just the power hitting or just the bowling session. That said, most juniors will take something from both, which is why we've made the full day £90 rather than £120.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, if you cancel more than seven days before the event. Within seven days of the date we're unable to offer refunds.

What ability level is this for?

Any junior who plays cricket regularly and wants to improve. This isn't a beginner introduction to cricket but you don't need to be academy level either. If your child trains and takes their game seriously, they'll get a lot out of the day.
