Connor is an experienced and passionate Strength & Conditioning Coach currently working at Durham County Cricket Club, where he leads the S&C provision for the Female Talent Pathway. His role spans across the women’s and girls’ academy and pathway programmes, with a strong emphasis on long-term athletic development and building robust, high-performing athletes across all ages and stages.
In addition to his work in cricket, Connor has spent the past four years leading the S&C support for the Hockey Wales U16–U18 boys’ and girls’ national teams, helping them prepare for European international competitions. His multi-sport experience reflects a well-rounded coaching philosophy grounded in performance, resilience, and progression.
Connor is an accredited coach with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA). He joined Durham CCC in November 2024 following five years as an S&C coach at Marlborough College, a prestigious independent school in Wiltshire. Prior to this, he spent two years at the University of Worcester working with performance sports teams, scholarship athletes, and TASS programmes. He also supported elite athletes in professional setups, including the Worcester Wolves basketball franchise and Severn Stars netball team in the Vitality Superleague.
Academically, Connor holds a Master’s degree in Applied Sport Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Studies from the University of Worcester.
A lifelong cricket enthusiast, Connor continues to play for Sedgefield Cricket Club and competes in the winter with Durham City Hockey Club.
