How to get started on the Cricfit App: your guide + troubleshooting tips

If you’re ready to train smarter and improve your cricket performance, the Cricfit App is your solution. Here’s a practical guide to help you get started and solutions for some common questions new users often ask.

How to sign up for Cricfit

  1. Go to cricfit.co.uk and click "Get Started".
  2. Browse programme options
  3. Click Sign Up Today on your chosen programme
  4. Enter your details (email, name, payment info) to create your subscription - you can cancel this anytime once signed up

Please note: You need to sign up for your programme first before trying to download and log into the app.

Creating your Cricfit account

Once payment is complete:

  • Set your password
  • Optionally upload a photo
  • Add basic info: name, date of birth, height, weight
  • Choose your exercise experience level

Then you’ll be prompted to download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Log in using the credentials you just created.

Exploring the app

Once logged in:

  • Watch the welcome video for a quick app tour.
  • Turn on notifications so coaches can reach you.
  • Check out the rocket ship icon (main dashboard) for your sessions.
  • Look at the calendar tab to view or move sessions to fit your schedule.
  • Explore the kettlebell tab for optional workouts like pump sessions or mobility work.

You’ll only see your current phase (e.g. weeks 1–4) visible in the calendar. Future phases unlock as you progress.

Completing your sessions

Every workout is structured with:

  • Video demos of each exercise
  • Written instructions and coaching cues
  • Reps, sets, and rest timers

Log your weights, reps, and how hard the session felt. Always hit Save at the end so your coach can track your progress.

Connect your Apple Watch or other wearables via the app’s settings to sync your activity stats.

Using the messaging feature

Inside the app, you’ll see a chat feature to message your coach directly. You can:

  • Ask for feedback
  • Share videos of your technique
  • Ask questions about exercises or schedule changes

Parents: create the account in your name for safety, then share the login with your child if needed.

Coaches aim to set up new programs within 24 hours but it’s often quicker!

Logging cricket sessions manually

If you play cricket outside your programmed sessions:

  • Tap the + icon in the app.
  • Choose Log Cricket.
  • Enter details like hours played.

This helps your coach monitor your total workload.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: I downloaded the app but I can’t log into the Cricfit app.

Check that you’ve completed your subscription online first. If you try to download the app before signing up for a program, you won't have a login.

Q: Why can’t I see next month’s sessions in the Cricfit app?

The app only displays your current training phase to keep things manageable and flexible. Future phases unlock as you progress.

Q: I’m not sure how to do an exercise in the Cricfit app

Click on the exercise name, then tap Full Video for a detailed explanation and coaching cues. If you still need help, simply message your coach

Q: Can I move sessions around my schedule in the Cricfit app?

Yes! Click hold and drag sessions in the calendar to different days as needed.

Q: How quickly will my program appear after I sign up to Cricfit?

Usually within a few hours, but allow up to 24 hours in case coaches are busy coaching or filming.

Q: Can I connect my wearable devices in the Cricfit app?

Yes, go to the settings menu (three dots bottom right) and select Connect Devices.

Q: I’m a parent. Should my child have their own login?

We recommend parents create the account, then share the login with their child if desired. This ensures parents stay informed and monitor any messaging.

Starting with Cricfit is simple but if you ever get stuck, reach out via the app’s chat feature or email info@cricfit.co.uk. We’re here to help you perform at your best!
